EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE The Consultant shall provide the following engineering services during the construction phase of the Bair Island Storm Drain Pump Station project on a time and material basis up to the limit of ConsultanYs budget. TASK 9.0 Engineering Support Services during Construction Task 9.1 Review submittals, RFIs and Change Orders -- Consultant shall review additional shop drawing submittals, RFIs and change orders as needed by the City. Consultant shall provide services up to the limit of authorized budget for this task. Task 9.2 Hazardous Waste Related CM Issues -- Consultant shall provide as requested hazardous waste related services by the City up to the limit of authorized budget. TASK 10.0 Additional Construction and Post-Construction Services Task 10.1 As Needed Construction and Post-Construction consulting— Special inspection, investigative and technical consulting services for the one-year contractor warranty period and as needed by the City Task 10.2 Review Manufacturer's Operation and Maintenance (08M) Manual -- Consultant shall provide assistance in reviewing manufacturer's O& M manuals for pumps, VFDs, and diesel generator as requested up to the limit of authorized budget ASSUMPTIONS Consultant shall provide as requested engineering services during construction up to the limit of authorized budget. Estimated effort is based on an average level of effort and City staff and City' construction management (CM) consultant's staff doing part of the work. Actual effort required may vary depending on the contractor, subcontractors, City and CM staff involvement, construction schedule and unforeseen site conditions and issues. FEE SCHEDULE All fees shall be charged on a time and material basis, commensurate with work completed and in accordance with hourly rates set forth in the table below.
