Product: Draft CEQA Environmental Checklist Form/Initial Study (CEQA <br /> Appendix G)--all environmental topic areas, Mandatory Findings of Significance, <br /> and Determination <br /> Alternatively, should the City, upon consultation with the Consultant, determine the <br /> project evaluation is better served by the CEQA streamlining provisions as <br /> described in SB226/Public Resource Code 21094.5 and CEQA Guidelines 15183.3 <br /> et seq. then the Consultant shall prepare a draft CEQA Environmental Checklist <br /> Form/Initial Study per CEQA Appendix N. <br /> Task 3. Review Draft Initial Study With City Staff <br /> Consultant and City staff, including the City Attorney and/or City's CEQA attorney if <br /> desired by the City, will review the draft Initial Study. Based on the draft Initial Study <br /> conclusions and team review, the team will decide, if necessary, what project <br /> changes or additional project conditions could be imposed to mitigate or avoid <br /> impacts identified in the DTTP EIR so that the City can approve the project as being <br /> within the scope of the DTPP EIR. As a result of the team review, Consultant will <br /> revise the draft Initial Study. <br /> If the team ultimately concludes that a Mitigated Negative Declaration, Supplemental <br /> EIR, Subsequent EIR or other CEQA documentation is required, Consultant will <br /> prepare a concise work scope, schedule, and budget for the additional CEQA work. <br /> Products: Revised Initial Study based on team review; If necessary, concise <br /> work scope/schedule/budget for additional CEQA work <br /> ATTYIAGR/2013.017/M IG <br /> REV:02-05-13 VR <br /> Page 11 of 12 <br />
