DAS:?'% 11/28/88 (~012/24 <br /> <br /> DEC 5 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 10944 ~ <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR <br /> DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND <br /> RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7101 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State <br />of California requires that deeds or grants conveying any <br />interest in or easement upon real estate to political <br />corporations be accepted by the grantee prior to being recorded; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an <br />officer or agent may be authorized by the political corporation <br /> <br />to accept such deeds or grants on its behalf; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That Artyn C. Jorgenson, City Clerk of the City of <br />Redwood City, be and she hereby is authorized to accept, on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City, all deeds or grants conveying <br />an interest in or easement upon real estate to the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 2. That Resolution No. 7101, adopted January 21, 1974, by <br /> the Council of the City of Redwood City, is hereby rescinded. <br /> <br /> 10944 <br /> <br /> <br />
