7.A. - Page 34 <br /> Redwood City Chapter 1.Introduction <br /> Scope of the Addendum <br /> This document determines whether the proposed modifications could have any significant effects on <br /> the environment.For purposes of this evaluation,and consistent with the 2007 FEIR and current <br /> Appendix G of the CEQA Guidelines,the proposed modifications'potential environmental effects are <br /> grouped into the following categories. <br /> • Land Use, Planning,and Zoning <br /> • Aesthetics <br /> • Traffic,Circulation and Access <br /> • Air Quality <br /> • Noise <br /> • Hydrology and Drainage <br /> • Geology and Soils <br /> • Public Services <br /> • Utilities <br /> • Hazards and Hazardous Materials <br /> • Biological Resources <br /> • Greenhouse Gas Emissions <br /> Format of the Addendum <br /> Consistent with the 2007 FEIR this Addendum No. 2 is arranged in the following sections: <br /> • Chapter 1,Introduction,identifies the purpose,need, CEQA requirements for an Addendum, <br /> methodology,and the scope and structure of this Addendum No.2. <br /> • Chapter 2,Environmental Setting,provides a description of the project site's location,existing <br /> conditions,environment setting in the vicinity of the project site,and a discussion of local and <br /> regional plans and policies applicable to the proposed modifications described in this <br /> Addendum No. 2. <br /> • Chapter 3,ProjectDescription,describes the proposed modifications associated with this <br /> Addendum No. 2. <br /> • Chapter 4,Environmental ImpactAnalysis,presents the environmental analysis for <br /> each resource topic.This section briefly describes the environmental setting as it relates to <br /> each resource topic,identifies the potential impacts of implementing the proposed <br /> modifications,and describes mitigation measures that would reduce or avoid the identified <br /> potential impacts. <br /> • Chapter 5,Significantlrreversible Environmental Changes,describes the potentially significant <br /> irreversible environmental changes that may occur with implementation of the proposed <br /> modifications. <br /> Addendum No.2 to the Environmental Impact Report for September 2012 <br /> the Redwood City Costco Wholesale Project 1-5 ICF 00154.12 <br />
