Short-term ambient concentrations of carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, <br /> and respirable particulate matter associated with increased vehicle queuing at the GDF were <br /> modeled and compared to the applicable California or federal standard (whichever was more <br /> health-protective). Table 7 summarizes the relevant significance thresholds (City of Redwood <br /> City, 2006, Table 4.5-8). Note that the nitrogen dioxide threshold in Table 7 has been updated <br /> from the threshold presented in the 2007 Certified EIR Table 4.5-8 to reflect the new federal <br /> ambient one-hour standard of 100 parts per billion, or 188 micrograms per cubic meter (�g/m3). <br /> Table 7. The District recommends that an odor source with five <br /> or more confirmed complaints per year averaged over three years be considered to have a <br /> significant impact on receptors located within specified odor screening distances.
