The SRO's are <br /> invc�lved in a variety of activities that enhance safety c�n campus and provide a pasitive <br /> palice presence, increasing the Police Department's ability tt� serve the needs of the <br /> entire Redwood City community. <br /> B. The partnership between Haover, Kennedy and the Police Department is <br /> an important part of Qn-gt�ing efforts to reach out to the youth in the community and � <br /> 4 <br /> establish strang relaticrnships with community members. } <br /> e <br /> G. Redwaod City Schoal District agrees to partially fund the School Resc�urce � <br /> � <br /> Officers' salaries �uring the nine manths when the sehc�c�ls are in session. The School � <br /> District has requested eight hours t�f part-time SRt} services at Hc�e�ver and Kennedy �' <br /> Middle Schot�ls far the 2012-13 school year(July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2t113}. The cost for ` <br /> the services is approximate�y $45,000, of which by mutual agreement, the District will � <br /> make a total payment of�1�,000.00 to partially offset the cost of providing the officers. <br /> � <br /> N�W, THEREFORE, for and in ct�nsideratian of the cc�llabarative agreements F <br /> herein ccmtained, the sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the Parties hereto � <br /> agree as foN�aws � <br /> � <br /> z <br /> 1.
