As such, results for both the peak period (which is a 3 hour period for the weekday and a 4 hour period for the weekend) and the peak hour are presented. Table 5 shows the existing queues observed at the fuel station. The average queue during the Saturday midday peak hour was 8 vehicles longer than during the weekday p.m. peak hour. The maximum queue observed during any time period was 56 vehicles which occurred during the weekend midday time period. Peak period video recordings were used to identify average and peak wait times for vehicles in the fuel station queue under existing conditions. Table 6 summarizes the wait times observed at the existing fuel station during the weekday p.m.and weekend midday peak periods and peak hours.
