SECTION 00800 <br /> SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> 1.01 HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION <br /> A. Working hours shall be from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, unless otherwise <br /> specified for off-peak hours. <br /> 1.02 PLANS <br /> A. Those certain plans entitled, East Bayshore Road Street Lighting Project; <br /> B. The City Engineering Standards (and latest revisions); <br /> C. State of California, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications and Plans, are <br /> hereby made a part of this contract. <br /> 1.03 TIME OF COMPLETION <br /> A. The work covered under these contract documents shali be diligently prosecuted in accordance <br /> with the schedule proposed by the Contractor and approved by the city to insure compietion <br /> within thirty (30) calendar-days from the date of Notice to Proceed. <br /> 1.04 GENERAL TRAFFIC CONTROL, SAFETY & ACCESS <br /> A. Contractors shall comply with Section 01550, Traffic Regulations, or as directed. <br /> B. Contractor shall provide one 11-foot minimum width traffic lane for vehicular traffic in each <br /> direction of travel during construction. <br /> C. Contractor has immediate access to the work site within the corporate limits of Redwood City. <br /> Contractor shali limit his activities within the area indicated as limits of the Contract. No work <br /> shall proceed on site unless temporary barriers, fences, gates and protection are installed and <br /> functioning. <br /> 1.05 UTILITY SHUTDOWN <br /> A. No utility shall be disconnected without prior written approval of the Engineer. <br /> B. In the event operations of this project require that there be a temporary utility shutdown, the <br /> Contractor shall submit, in writing, notice of this requirement at least forty-eight (48) hours in <br /> advance of the operation. <br /> 1.06 DRAWINGS ON SITE <br /> A. A complete set of Plans and Specifications shall be kept continuously at the site. Copies of all <br /> change orders, letters, extra work orders shali be kept on the job at all times, and shall be <br /> available for inspection. <br /> 1A7 RECORDS <br /> A. Contractor shall keep accurate, detailed records of the type, character and extent of all work <br /> accomplished and time spent in the performance of each type of work and shall, upon request, <br /> furnish the Engineer with any information from these records, including the accumulative totals. <br /> B.
