i. SRO on site at Kennedy Middle School during 30 weeks of <br /> school instruction for 8 hours a week; days of the week and hours will be jointly <br /> determined by representatives of the City and Kennedy Middle School. The SRO <br /> will assist the school in patrolling the school perimeter, in mentoring students with <br /> attendance issues, and in providing other supports to the school as determined <br /> collaboratively between representatives of Kennedy, District and City. <br /> ii. City will provide a parent workshop to educate and support <br /> Kennedy students and parents about the dangers of gang interest and <br /> membership. <br /> iii. City will attend partnership meetings and participate in <br /> information sharing, problem-solving, evaluation and data collection process. <br /> B. The City agrees to provide a SRO for the Hoover School to address <br /> safety issues as described below. <br /> i. City will coordinate with Hoover staff to provide police <br /> support in the area for school-based events such as Back to School Night, parent <br /> Conferences, Open House, and 8th Grade Graduation. <br /> iii. City will provide a parent workshop to educate and support <br /> Hoover students and parents about the dangers of gang interest and <br /> membership. <br /> 3. Obliqations of District. During the term of this Agreement, District hereby <br /> covenants and agrees to the following: <br /> A. District, through Hoover and Kennedy School, will provide a 0.25 <br /> FTE Project Coordinator to coordinate project activities and staff, document <br /> project activities and accomplishments, and provide reports as needed to the <br /> Parties. <br /> B. District will identify and refer students and families to City for <br /> services. <br /> C.
