Ordinance(s) - None — REVISED <br /> 4. Section - Claim(s) and Check(s) <br /> A. Approve claims and checks dated February 25, 2013 and the usual and <br /> necessary payments through March 11, 2013 <br /> MINUTE ORDER 13-046 <br /> 7. PUBLIC HEARING(S) <br /> A. Solid Waste Collection Rate Increase <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Approve, by resolution, a 3.0% increase in the rates for regular solid waste <br /> and recycling collection services, and a 3.25% increase for Unscheduled <br /> Services effective February 26, 2013. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15246 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY ESTABLISHING SOLID WASTE COLLECTION RATES <br /> Bill Ekern, Community Development Director, provided the report. One Council <br /> Member made comments about the fee increase and provided some county-wide <br /> information. Mayor Aguirre opened the public hearing. There was no public comment. <br /> Council Member Foust joined the meeting. <br /> There was a motion by Council Member Seybert and second by Council Member Bain <br /> to close the public hearing. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote. <br /> City Clerk Vonderlinden reported 22 protest letters received. <br /> M/S Gee/Seybert to approve the resolution. Council Member Foust said she would <br /> abstain since she was not present for the full discussion even though she was part of <br /> the recommendation. Motion carries with six votes in favor and Council Member <br /> Foust abstaining. <br /> 8. STAFF REPORT(S) - <br /> A. Docktown Marina Management and Operations <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1.
