6.1.C. - Page 18 <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The purpose of this project is to conduct walking/biking assessments for the six elementary <br /> schools participating in the Redwood City Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Program. When <br /> completed, these assessments will provide information to parents and students on possible <br /> school routes; inform the selection of appropriate programs to encourage walking and bicycling <br /> to school and needed infrastructure modifications to support increased walking and bicycling. <br /> Task 1. Project Initiation and Management <br /> Task 1.1. Project Management <br /> Throughout the project, Consultant shall host weekly coordination and progress calls between <br /> the Project Manager and the consultant team. In addition to the weekly calls, Consultant shall <br /> provide monthly project updates that include budget and deliverable progress to the Project <br /> Manager. <br /> Task 1.2. Project Initiation <br /> Consultant shall schedule and hold a kick-off ineeting with the City of Redwood City and <br /> Redwood City 2020. The purpose of the meeting will be to: <br /> • Establish project goals and objectives <br /> • Finalize project scope and schedule <br /> • Identify any critical issues <br /> • Identify data needs <br /> Task 1. Deliverables <br /> • On-going project management <br /> • Emailed `action item' list after weekly calls <br /> • Monthly progress reports <br /> • Project initiation meeting and meeting notes <br /> • Final scope of work and project schedule <br /> Task 2. Walking 8� Bicycle Audits <br /> Walking and bicycling audits help the City, community members, stakeholder and the consulting <br /> teams identify and understand the existing environment, challenges and opportunities. The <br /> Consultant Team will conduct one audit at each of the six participating elementary schools listed <br /> below. <br /> • Adelante <br /> • Fair Oaks <br /> • Garfield <br /> • Hawes <br /> • John Gill <br /> • Roy Cloud <br /> Task 2.1.
