�'�U�'��� <br /> FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br /> THE FUNDING AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE SAN MATEO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY AND <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> FOR THE <br /> HUDSON STREET BICYCLE AND PEDE5TRIAN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to FIJNDING AGREEMENT FISCAL YEAR 2014 for <br /> SAN MATEO COUNTY NEW MEASURE A PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE PROGRAM <br /> FUNDS for the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY HUDSON STREET BICYCLE AND <br /> PED TRIAN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT ("Funding Agreement") is made as of the ,30�"day <br /> of _��C , 2016 (Effective Date), by and between the San Mateo County Transportation <br /> Authority ("TA") and the City of Redwood City ("Sponsor"), referred to herein individually as <br /> "Party" and jointly as "Parties." <br /> WHEREAS, the Parties entered into the Funding Agreement for the preliminary <br /> engineering, final design and construction of the Hudson Street Bicycle and Pedestrian <br /> Improvements Project ("Project") on April 1, 2013; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Sponsor received an allocation of Measure A Pedestrian and Bicycle <br /> Program funds for the Project on July 7, 2011 and was to complete the Scope of Work no later <br /> than July 7, 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Sponsor submitted a letter requesting a time extension be granted to <br /> allow for one additional year through July 7, 2017 to complete the Scope of Work to allow for <br /> the completion of construction; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Funding Agreement to allow the Sponsor <br /> one additional year to complete the Scope of Work and the Sponsor will continue to contribute, <br /> or otherwise provide for the contribution of, any amount in excess of $532,640 of Measure A <br /> Pedestrian and Bicycle Program funds needed to implement the Project. <br /> IT IS HEREBY AGREED by the Parties that the Funding Agreement is revised and <br /> amended as follows: <br /> 1. PROJECT INFORMATION. Exhibit A is replaced with Exhibit A-1, which is <br /> attached to this First Amendment and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
