2013, and the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the Laurel Way Planned <br /> Development Project on March 26, 2013; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 26, 2013, the Planning Commission held a public hearing <br /> and certified the revised Final EIR prepared by the City in accordance with the <br /> requirements of CEQA and, based on the EIR, adopted a Mitigation Monitoring and <br /> Reporting Program in compliance with all CEQA requ+rements. <br /> N�W, THEREFORE, BE IT RES�LVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The abo�e recitals are true and correct and together with the Staff Report <br /> and the application ma#erials, including without limitation #he revised Final EIR, Planned <br /> Development Permif, and all other documents, reports, studies, memoranda, maps, oral <br /> and written testimany, and materials in the City's file for the applications and the Project, <br /> and all adopted City planning documents relating to the Project and the property <br /> including the City`s General Plan, Zon�ng Ordinance, and other applicable City laws and <br /> regulations, and all associated appro�ed and certified en�ironmental documents, ha�e <br /> together served as an adequate and appropria#e e�identiary basis for the findings and <br /> actions set forth in this Resolution. <br /> 2. The City of Redwood City is the lead agency ur�der CEQA for preparing <br /> the Final EIR, and the Planning Commission is the final decision-making authority with <br /> regard to approval of the Laurel Way Project as defined in section 15356 of the CEQA <br /> Guidelines. <br /> 3. The Planning Cornmission finds that the Final EIR for the Project was <br /> presented to the Planning Commission, that the Final EIR was prepared, published, <br /> circulated, re�iewed and completed in full compliance with State law and CEQA <br /> Guidelines, t�at there was adequate public review of the Draft EIR, that it has <br /> considered all comments on the Draft EIR and responses to comments, that the Final <br /> EIR adequately discusses all signifFCant environmental issues, and that the Final EIR <br /> reflects the independent judgment and analysis of the Planning Commission. <br /> 4. The Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the information <br /> contained in the Final EIR prior to taking action on the proposed Laurel Way Project. <br /> 5.
