2013, and the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the Laurel Way Planned Development Project on March 26, 2013; and WHEREAS, on March 26, 2013, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and certified the revised Final EIR prepared by the City in accordance with the requirements of CEQA and, based on the EIR, adopted a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program in compliance with all CEQA requ+rements. N�W, THEREFORE, BE IT RES�LVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The abo�e recitals are true and correct and together with the Staff Report and the application ma#erials, including without limitation #he revised Final EIR, Planned Development Permif, and all other documents, reports, studies, memoranda, maps, oral and written testimany, and materials in the City's file for the applications and the Project, and all adopted City planning documents relating to the Project and the property including the City`s General Plan, Zon�ng Ordinance, and other applicable City laws and regulations, and all associated appro�ed and certified en�ironmental documents, ha�e together served as an adequate and appropria#e e�identiary basis for the findings and actions set forth in this Resolution. 2. The City of Redwood City is the lead agency ur�der CEQA for preparing the Final EIR, and the Planning Commission is the final decision-making authority with regard to approval of the Laurel Way Project as defined in section 15356 of the CEQA Guidelines. 3. The Planning Cornmission finds that the Final EIR for the Project was presented to the Planning Commission, that the Final EIR was prepared, published, circulated, re�iewed and completed in full compliance with State law and CEQA Guidelines, t�at there was adequate public review of the Draft EIR, that it has considered all comments on the Draft EIR and responses to comments, that the Final EIR adequately discusses all signifFCant environmental issues, and that the Final EIR reflects the independent judgment and analysis of the Planning Commission. 4. The Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the information contained in the Final EIR prior to taking action on the proposed Laurel Way Project. 5. The information added in the re�ised Final E�R does not constitute significant new info�mation requiring recirculation of the Draft EIR, but rather that additional information clarifies or amplifies an already adequate EIR.
