7.A. - Page 6 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The Action Plan and Application prepared for submission to the United <br /> States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a Community Development <br /> Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of <br /> 1974, and the HOME Investment Partnership Grant pursuant to the National Affordable <br /> Housing Act of 1992, copies of which as well as the Consolidated Plan are on file in the <br /> office of the Community Development Department of the City of Redwood City, are <br /> hereby approved. <br /> 2. The City Council does hereby certify that the City of Redwood City has <br /> followed its adopted Citizen Participation Plan as required by Section 104(a) of the Act. <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and file the Application <br /> and all related documents, including all understandings and assurances necessary or <br /> appropriate in connection therewith, and to provide such additional information as may <br /> be required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> 4.
