Each of these <br /> topic areas are represented in Chapters of the Built Environment Element. These chapters include <br /> 146 programs to implement related goals and policies. The specific status of each of these <br /> programs is included in Attachment 2, which summarizes Implementation Program progress. <br /> Specific Projects Update: The first implementation program of the Built Environment is to <br /> complete zoning ordinance and zoning map amendments to implement General Plan policy. City <br /> staff initiated the process to draft amendments as required by the General Plan immediately <br /> following adoption of the General Plan. Program BE-1 requires a phased approach for quick <br /> implementation to ensure that priority development areas are provided with implementing zoning <br /> 3 � Page <br />
