Public Cornment: Rochelle Wilcox, representing the broadcast media - CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, Court TV and Fox News, stated their appreciation for the City's cooperation. She stated that the intent of the letter was to express concerns about the fees which began at very high rate and have gotten much more reasonable and closer to where they think they need to be. The largest part of the bill is the securities fees and she stated that under Supreme Court authority cannot be assessed to these media on this trial because the City would be doing it based on the content. She further stated that although the City may plan appropriate measures, those costs cannot be passed along to the media. Council Members asked various questions of Ms. Wilcox and made comments.
