A. Liquidated damages, for the period of time that any portion of the work remains <br /> unfinished after the time fixed for completion in the Contract Documents, as <br /> modified by extensions of time granted by the Owner, it is understood as agreed <br /> by the Contractor and the Owner that the contractor shall pay the Owner Five <br /> Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($500.00) per day liquidated damages. <br /> VII. WORK COVERED UNDER THIS CONTRACT <br /> A. Traffic control <br /> B. 6-inch asphalt spot reconstruction <br /> C. Daily site cleanup <br /> D. The work shall include the provision of all materials, equipment and apparatus <br /> not specifically mentioned in the specifications, but which are obviously <br /> necessary to complete the work thereunder. <br /> VIII. MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT <br /> BID ITEM 1 - MOBILIZATION, TRAFFIC CONTROL, AND OTHER INCIDENTALS <br /> A. Full compensation for all mobilization consisting of preparatory work and <br /> operations, including but not limited to, those necessary for the movement of <br /> personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals to the project site, traffic control <br /> measures including maintaining all traffic signs, delineators, and any required <br /> flagging costs as necessary to implement traffic control measures will be <br /> considered as included in the lump sum price paid for Mobilization, Traffic <br /> Control, and Other Incidentals. <br /> BID ITEM 2— 6-INCH ASPHALT CONCRETE SPOT RECONSTRUCTION <br /> A. This work shall consist of removing existing asphalt concrete surFacing and <br /> underlying base material and replacing the removed surFacing and base material <br /> with new asphalt concrete as shown on the plans. <br /> B. The quantity of 6-INCH ASPHALT CONCRETE SPOT RECONSTRUCTION to be <br /> paid for will be measured by the Ton of Asphalt Concrete in place. <br /> C. Full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials (including asphalt concrete), <br /> tools, equipment, and incidentals, and for doing all the work involved in removing <br /> and disposing of materials, and replacing asphalt concrete surFacing, complete in <br /> place, as shown on the plans, will be considered as included in the contract unit <br /> price for 6-INCH ASPHALT CONCRETE SPOT RECONSTRUCTION. <br /> 14 <br />
