EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant will conduct the following tasks on a time and expenses basis up to the <br /> estimated budget established in Exhibit "B" COMPENSATION. Consultant is expected <br /> to supply the office, computer, or other equipment required to support the successful <br /> completion of this work. <br /> 1. ENGAGEMENT OF CONSULTANT <br /> Consultant will manage the process to engage a consultant team for the Project <br /> Approval/Environmental Document (PA/ED) phase of the 101/84 Interchange <br /> Reconstruction Project. This may include, but is not limited to: <br /> • Assemble a Review Board to review and evaluate consultant proposals and <br /> conduct interviews <br /> • Prepare checklists for proposal and interview evaluations <br /> • Receive proposals and review for acceptance according to RFP requirements; <br /> identify any proposals that do not meet RFP requirements <br /> • Schedule and conduct a meeting of the Review Board to distribute the proposals <br /> and evaluation checklists and review the evaluation procedure and timeline <br /> • Review and evaluate proposals <br /> • Schedule and conduct a meeting of the Review Board to discuss the evaluation, <br /> rank consultants, and decide whether interviews will be held <br /> • Confer with references supplied by high-ranked consultants and document <br /> discussions <br /> • Schedule an appropriate venue and audio and visual equipment for interviews, if <br /> necessary <br /> • Advise prospective consultants in writing about evaluation results and invite <br /> short-listed consultants to interviews, if necessary <br /> • Prepare interview schedule in consultation with Review Board members and <br /> short-listed consultants, and advise all in writing <br /> • Conduct interviews and subsequent meeting where Review Board decides final <br /> ranking of consultants <br /> • Advise prospective consultants of final ranking and next steps <br /> • Prepare and negotiate contract with selected consultant in coordination with City <br /> staff in Community Development, Finance and City Attorney departments <br /> • Prepare staff report and summary presentation for City Council consideration and <br /> approval of consultant contract <br /> • Coordinate and secure signatures on original contracts and process in <br /> coordination with City staff and officials <br /> Page 10 of 12 <br /> ATTY/AGR/2013.074/KRUPKA CONSULTING <br /> REV:05-15-13 VR <br />
