i <br /> 2. COORDINATION WITH CALTRANS <br /> Consultant will develop necessary agreements with Caltrans District 4 staff regarding <br /> their active participation in the PA/ED phase of work. This may include the following <br /> efforts among others: <br /> • Meet with the Caltrans Project Engineer and other Caltrans staff to review and <br /> discuss critical procedural matters including the City/Caltrans Cooperative <br /> Agreement, PA/ED procedures, proposed team members, project issues, and <br /> convening a Project Development Team (PDT) <br /> • Document meetings and proceedings in writing and share with participants for <br /> concurrence <br /> • Review draft Cooperative Agreement, and successive revisions, in coordination <br /> with City staff in Community Development, Finance and City Attorney <br /> departments <br /> • Review and document Caltrans project development standards and requirements <br /> for the PA/ED phase of work <br /> • Coordinate scope, schedule and accounting matters <br /> • Establish PDT membership, protocols, meeting schedule and candidate meeting <br /> locations <br /> • Coordinate with PDT members <br /> • Develop staff reports for City approvals <br /> . Prepare for and attend meetings with City officials <br /> 3. COORDINATION WITH SMCTA <br /> Consultant will manage the process to develop necessary agreements with SMCTA <br /> staff regarding their active participation in the PA/ED phase of work.
