There is a probability that the site has localized soil contamination related to historic agricultural
operations. In addition, the existing building likely contains asbestos and/or lead based paint. The
identified hazardous materials impacts will be mitigated and would not result in a cumulatively
considerable impact.
The proposed project is consistent with the General Plan and zoning designations and would be
consistent with all applicable City land use regulations
As discussed in the respective sections, the proposed project would have no impact or a less than
significant impact on agriculture and forest resources, geology and soils, mineral resources,
population and housing, public services, recreation, transportation, and utility and service facilities.
The project is consistent with the General Plan and, therefore, the cumulative impacts to utilities,
public services, and population and housing have been addressed in the General Plan Environmental
Impact Report and accounted for in the City's long-term infrastructure service planning.
A 141-unit multi-family housing project located approximately two-tenths of a mile north of the
project site on El Camino Real was approved in February 2012. Due to the small size of both
projects, these projects together would not result in a cumulatively considerable impact. There are no
other recently approved or reasonably foreseeable projects that, when combined with the proposed
project, would result in a cumulatively considerable impact.
4.18.2 Conclusion
Implementation of the proposed project would not result in any significant unavoidable impacts,
impacts that are cumulatively considerable, or directly or indirectly cause substantial adverse affects
on human beings.
