'�''! i�l'���, � � , <br /> 1 This Tree Protection Plan is to be included as a detail on the frnal site plan used for <br /> canstruct�on, <br /> 2 A Certified Arborist, Registered Consulting Arborist or a qualified Registered <br /> Professional Farester is to be retained to act as the Proj�ct Arborist to monitor any <br /> construction activities that may impact the health of protected trees at the site. <br /> 3 Supplemental Water <br /> 3.1 Priar to construction activities, the protected trees are to be watered as per <br /> the Project Arbarist. <br /> 3.2 Supplemental watering is ta be provided by the contractor as determined by <br /> the Project Arborist. <br /> 4 Prior to the start of grading ar�d construction, all regulated trees are to be <br /> inspected by the Project Arborist and the Project 5upervisor (or Lead) far <br /> equipment and building clearance and if necessary, professionally pruned. (Refer <br /> to item 13 -Tree Contractors.} <br /> 5 Prior to the start of grading and construction, a minimum six inch layer of clean <br /> wood chips is to be installed over exposed 5oi1 within the dripline of protected trees. <br /> 6 Prior to the start of grading and construction activities, temporary protective <br /> barriers consisting of chain link fencing five to six feet high and attached to 1.5 to 2 <br /> inch diameter galvar�ized rr�etal pasts driven two Feet into the ground and spaced <br /> no more than 1Q feet apart are to be placed one foot beyond the dripline or at <br /> limits specified for each tree by the Project Arborist. <br /> 7 Chain link panels five to six feet high and secured to concrete footings may be <br /> used when designated by the Project Arborist and approved by the City. <br /> 8 An access gate is to be a cor�ponent of the tree protection fencing ta allow <br /> examination and watering of the trees. <br /> 9 Warning signs minimize size 8.5" x 11" are to be secured ta the tree protection <br /> barriers to inform wark crews that tree protection measures are in place and are to <br /> be respected.
