The use <br /> of a pneumatic device such as ar�Air Spade� ar hydraulic de�ice for <br /> excavation is recomm�nded. <br /> 12.6 Grade changes or excavations within the TPZ are to be first authorized and <br /> supervised by the Project Arborist. <br /> 13 Qualified Tree Contractor <br /> 13.1 All tree work is to be performed by a State of California Licensed Tree <br /> Contractor (C61 - b49) wha can provide proof of insurance (General liab+lity <br /> and Workers Compensatio�} <br /> �3.2 A!I pruning is to be perFormed ar directed �y a Certified Arborist or a Certified <br /> Tree Worker. <br /> 13.3 All tree work is to be completed in accordance with the Best Management <br /> Practices for Pruning (International Society of Arboriculture} and adh�re to <br /> the most recent editions of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) <br /> for Tree Care Operations {Z133.1) and Pruning (A300). <br /> 13.4 Stump grindir�g <br /> 13.4.1 Tree stumps are to be grubbed to a depth of 18 inches. <br /> 13.4.2 Before stump grinding operations begin it is the responsibility of the tree <br /> contractor to see that all underground utilities in the immediate area are <br /> painted or flagged. <br /> 13.4.3 Contact the Underground Service Afert Company or a qualified utility <br /> locating contractor to mark the location of all underground utilities ir�the <br /> area of excavatian. <br /> �u��W�PSU�� �`��•�ai��tl��aoo; �.'a."� . o�� �°�a�M� °b.�:,, �� :I�.� <br />
