Licensee is responsible for <br />any payments made by City to obtain or maintain such insurance and City may collect the same from <br />Licensee or deduct the amount paid from any sums due Licensee under this License. <br />11. Compliance with Laws. Licensee shall comply with all laws concerning use and <br />occupancy of the Property. <br />12. Assiqnment. Licensee understands and acknowledges that assignment, sublicensing or <br />transfer of this License is prohibited without the written consent of City, and any attempt to do so without <br />City's written consent may result in a revocation of the License at the will of City. <br />13. Revocation of License. Licensee understands and agrees that this License may be <br />revoked at any time for Licensee's failure to comply with any of the terms and conditions hereof. The <br />determination of License revocation shall be within the sole discretion of City and shall be in addition to <br />the right to terrninate without cause pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 2 of this License. <br />If this License is revoked by City under this Section 13, the revocation shall be no earlier than <br />forty-eight (48) hours from the date and time of delivery of the notice of revocation and Licensee shali <br />remove the Vehicle and any personal property from the Property by that time or City may remove them <br />and charge Licensee for the cost of removal or storage. <br />14. Liens and Encumbrances. Licensee shall have no authority to do any1hing that may <br />result in a lien or encumbrance against the Property. Without limiting the foregoing, however, Licensee <br />agrees to pay promptly all costs associated with the activities associated with this License and not to <br />cause, permit, or suffer any lien or encumbrance to be asserted against the Property. In the event that <br />Licensee causes, permits, or suffers any lien or encumbrance to be asserted against the Property related <br />to activities associated with this License, Licensee at its sale cost and expense shall promptly cause such <br />lien or encumbrance to be removed. <br />15. Damaqe to the Property. If, at any time, any of Licensee's activities conducted pursuant <br />to this License causes any damage to any portion of the Property, Licensee will promptly repair such <br />damage to City's satisfaction. <br />18. Notice. All notices under this License shali be in writing and, unless otherwise provided <br />herein, shall be deemed validly given if sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, or via recognized <br />overnight courier service, addressed as follows (or to any other mailing address which the party to be <br />notified may designate to the other party by such notice). All notices properly given as provided for in this <br />section shall be deemed to be given on the date when sent.
