' � J,]ES:djg-c 2/21/64 <br /> _ ' 'S:djg-c 3/05/89R <br /> ' • �.�,S:djg-c 3/12/84R <br /> � JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS_AGREEMENT <br /> SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORiTY <br /> S�u.Plemental Agreement III <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, dated for convenience as of April 2b, 1984���, <br /> 1984, by and between the CITY OF BELMONT f"$�lmont") , a general <br /> law City, the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ("Redwood City"} , a chartered <br /> City, the CITY OF SAN CARI�OS ("San Carlos") , a general law City, <br /> and WEST BAY SANITARY DISTRICT ("West Bay" ; fozmerly named the <br /> Menlo Park Sanitary District) , a sanitary district, each duly <br /> organized and �xisting in the County of 5an Mateo, State o� <br /> California, under the Constitution and laws of the State and <br /> collectively called the "Agencies"; <br /> � W I T N E S S E T H : <br /> WHEREAS, the Agencies have heretofore entered into an <br /> agreement dated November 13, ].975, entitled "Jaint Exercise of <br /> Powers Agreement -- South Bayside System Authority" {the <br /> "Agreement") , and twa SuppleYnental Agreements thereto dated fox <br /> convenience as of June 8, 197.7 and June 1, 1983, respectively; and <br /> WHEFtEAS, the Agre�ment establishes the South Bayside System <br /> Authority to finance, acquire and construct, and to manage, <br /> operate and maintain the Joint Facilities to inc3.ude, among other <br /> facilities, Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the Project, as said Joint <br /> Facilities, Stages and Project are defined in the Agreement; and <br /> WHEREAS, Stage 1 of the Pro�ect is now operative and the <br /> Agencies desire to define and describe Stage 2 of the Project mare <br /> � <br />
