" <br />water end of the bay outfall, including connections 'to the <br />new treatment plant of the Authority to be constructed at <br />Redwood Shores; and the existing B~1mont force main extendin~ <br />from the existing Belmont pumping plant to a new connection <br />(to be constructed) with said deep water bay outfall. <br /> Section 1.24. "Manager". "Manager" means the <br />manager of the Authority appointed as provided in Section 3.5. <br /> Section 1.25. "Menlo". "Menlo" means Menlo Park <br />Sanitary District, a sanitary district duly organized and <br />existing in the county under the Sanitary District Act of <br />1923 (Sections 6400, et seg. of the Health and Safety Code <br />of the State!), and the constitution of the State. <br /> Section 1.26. "Maintenance and operation costs". <br />"Maintenance and operation costs" means those sums of money <br />required to be expended by the Authority from a fund to be <br />established and maintained by the Authority to finance the <br />cost of maintaining and operating the Joint Facilities, <br />including all administrative costs, flow conveyance main- <br />tenance and operation costs and treatment plant maintenance <br />and operation costs on and after July 1st next succeeding the <br />operative date of Staqe 1 of the Project as defined in <br />Section 5.7, but excluding all capital costs and all costs <br />of special services. <br /> Section 1.27. "Peak flow rate". "Peak flow rate" <br />means maximum total flow measured during 60 consecutive <br />minutes and expressed in gallons per day. <br /> Section 1.28. "Porter-Coloqne water quality control <br />ill..". "Porter-Cologne water quality control act" means <br />Division 7 of the Water Code of the state as in effect on <br />the date of this Agreement and as hereafter amended. <br /> 6 <br /> 1005029 <br />
