SwC:djg-c 5/03/83R <br /> Agencies from providing additional levels of treatment to <br /> insure meeting waste discharge requirements for the combined <br /> effluent. In the event that one or more Agencies shall be <br /> obligated to provide additional levels of treatment to meet <br /> waste discharge requirements for the combined effluent, all <br /> Agencies required to provide any such additional levels of <br /> treatment shall participate in the costs of such treatment <br /> based on their respective contributions of waste characteristics <br /> to be treated and the costs of providing such treatment. The <br /> failure of any Agency to provide any such additional level of <br /> treatment shall be the sole responsibility of such Agency. <br /> "In addition to the foregoing remedies, the Manager of <br /> the Authority shall have the right to direct an Agency <br /> immediately to terminate the discharge of an industrial user at <br /> the source of such discharge whenever the Manager determines that <br /> such discharge poses an imminent threat to the safety or <br /> operation of the Joint Facilities by one of the following: <br /> II (a) Fire or explosion hazard: <br /> " (b) Corrosive discharges with a pH lower than 5.0; <br /> II (c) Obstruction in the flow resulting in interference <br /> with the operation of the facilities; <br /> II (d) Discharge with such a flow rate, or in such a <br /> pollutant concentration as to cause interference <br /> with the operation of the facilities; or <br /> 5 <br />
