METHODOLOGY FOR ALLOCATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE, MAINTENANCE <br /> AND OPERATION COSTS FOR JOINT FACILITIES <br /> <br />1. Allocation of total annual administrative (incl ud ing fiscal and <br /> legal), and conveyance and operating costs shall be made on the basis <br /> of each Agency's proportionate share of the total of all flow <br /> contributed to the Joint Facilities. The equation used in determining <br /> an Agency's share of such annual costs is presented as follows: <br /> Aa = Qa At <br /> Qt <br /> Where: A = Agency's total annual share of administrative, and <br /> a conveyance maintenance and operation costs. <br /> Q = Agency's total annual contribution of wastewater (in <br /> a millions of gallons) to the joint conveyance facilities <br /> Qt = Total of all contributions of wastewater (in millions of <br /> gallons) to the joint conveyance facilities <br /> At = Total of all annual administrative, and conveyance <br /> maintenance and operation costs of the Authority <br />. Allocation of Pump Station maintenance and operation costs shall be <br />. made on the basis of the actual costs charged to each pump station and <br /> shall be borne by the agency served by each particular pump station. <br /> The maintenance and operation costs of the Booster Station shall be <br /> allocated on a percentage basis to West Bay Sanitary District and <br /> Redwood City at 92% and 8%, respectively. <br />3. Distribution of total annual treatment plant operation and maintenance <br /> costs shall be made on the basis of each agency's proportionate <br /> contribution of flow, Biochemical Oxygen Demand and Suspended Solids <br /> to the Joint Facilities. The total annual treatment plant maintenance <br /> and operation costs shall be allocated on the basis of 26.5% to flow, <br /> 33.5% to Bioéhemical Oxygen Demand and 40% to Suspended Solids. The <br /> equation used in determining an agency's share of such annual costs is <br /> presented as follows: <br /> ( Qa BODa SSa <br /> T = Tt (0.265 + 0.335 ---- + 0.400 ---) <br /> a <br /> ( Qt BODt SSt <br /> Where: T = Agency's total annual share of treatment plant <br /> a maintenance and operation costs <br /> Tt = Total of all annual treatment plant maintenance and <br /> operation costs <br />. <br /> * 100% Recycled <br /> Paper <br />
