06/24/2013 <br />**Flow limits for meters in calculating monthly water service charges are those <br />established by the American Water Works Association for the designated meter <br />sizes. <br />(c) Manifold Meters. <br /> The service charge for a manifold meter installation <br />shall be the sum of the applicable individual meter service charges for <br />each such installation. <br /> <br />(d) Fire Meter Service Charge. <br /> Monthly charges for water service furnished <br />to fire service connections for the corresponding meter sizes and from and <br />after the effective date hereinafter specified, are hereby established as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Meter Sizes Water Service Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 <br />Effective Date: 07/01/10 <br /> <br /> 1” $ 16.00 <br /> 2” $ 32.00 <br /> 3” $ 48.00 <br /> 4” $ 64.00 <br /> 6” $ 96.00 <br /> 8” $ 128.00 <br /> 10” $ 160.00 <br /> 12” $ 192.00 <br /> <br />Fire Meters are not a part of a regular meter billing system and are only <br />billed when the usage is registered. The Fire Meter service charges were <br />set in 2010 and do not require adjusting at this time. <br /> <br />(e) Water Service Areas. <br /> For the purpose of this section, the following water <br />service areas are established, and all premises served by the water <br />system owned and operated by the City of Redwood City shall be located <br />in such areas: <br /> <br />(1) Area 1: All premises located within the City of Redwood City and not <br />located within Areas 3, 5, or 6 shall be included in Area 1. <br /> <br />(2) Area 2: All premises located outside the City of Redwood City and not <br />located within Areas 4, 5, or 6 shall be included in Area 2. <br /> <br />(3) Area 3: All premises located within Redwood General Improvement <br />District No. 1-64, a general improvement district duly organized and <br />existing under the Redwood City General Improvement District Ordinance <br />(being Ordinance No. 1128, adopted March 9, 1964, as amended), and all <br />territory annexed to said district shall be included in Area 3. <br /> <br />ATTY/ORD. 391 WATER RATE INCREASE ORD. # 2395 <br />REV: 5-23-13 MLG FORMERLY MUFF # 802 <br /> <br />Page 3 of 5 <br /> <br />
