<br />ON ROLL CALL the following viere noted present: Councilmen Robert H. Bury, Floyd D.
<br />Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, Hebert G. Petersen, 11illiara H. Royer, Ray A. Weymouth,
<br />Mayor John S. Rosselli, and City Clerk Helen C. Moore. Also noted present were City
<br />Manager Howard C. U1.1rich, City Attorney Richard E. Gardella, Police Chief William
<br />Faulstich, Fire Chief J. T,. Lodi, City E=7 neer Glenn M. Jain, Senior Planner Speer
<br />McClellan, Zoning; Coordinator 1,;illiam Shacicolford, Auditor -Accountant Jack Ference,
<br />Water Superintendent Warren Mitchell., Building; Inspector S. H. Kreis3, and Deputy
<br />City Clerk Marian McCrindle.
<br />Councilman 11eymouth moved to approve Minutes of Executive Session of January 16, 1966
<br />(7:00-8:00 P.M.) and Minutes of Regular Meeting of January 17, 1966, as mailed,
<br />seconded by Councilman Bury and carried.
<br />Certificate of Distinguished Service was presented to Gerald Tuxford by Mayor Rosselli
<br />on behalf of Council, for his many years of devoted community service as member of the
<br />Veterans Memorial Commission.
<br />Councilman Burr reported on annual award of Service Pins made to City .Employees for which
<br />he had been Master of Ceremonies, and felt it s-hould also be reported that Councilman
<br />Granger had been cited for 25 gears of serv:i.ce, aril Councilmen Her.kner aryl Royer for
<br />15 gears of service.
<br />Mayor Rosselli announced for those who might be present, Agenda item concerning an amend-
<br />ment to the Sign Ordinance had been deleted from the Agenda for Council considerado;:z
<br />for tcao weeks (Feb. 7.) (Memo 1/25/66)
<br />PUBLIC FEARiNG, Resolution of Intention of the Planning Commission to amend the Zoning
<br />Ordinance by adding Sections 2.12, 2.2.1, 2.1,0, 4.4(d), 5.4(d), 6.4(d), 7.4(c), 8.4(c),
<br />9.4(f), 10.4(e), and 31.16 and to amend Sect -'ms 2.115, 2.75, 2.93, 3.2, 5.5, 6.5y 7.55
<br />10.9(4)(5), 1.2, 32.7(a), 32.7(b), 41).3 and 45.7(a) was declared open and affidavit
<br />of oubl.cation was ordered filed. Report the Planning; Commission was outlined,
<br />briefly quoting sections to be amended, which clarified definitions and sections
<br />relating; to height regulations and clarifications of vaording, which amendments proposed were

<br />Paul Tessenforff, 45 Claremont, protested lack of parking;
<br />spaces required in apartment house areas and felt Zoning:
<br />Ordinance should be amended on this point.
<br />Mayor Rosselli stated that the 'Zoning Ordinance is constantly being revievied for
<br />amendments and upgrading found necessary for more affective control arri enforcement.
<br />There being; no written communications, or oral, protest, Councilman Royer moved to
<br />close the public hearing, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried.
<br />Councilman Bury moved to introduce Ordinance adding Sections 2.12, 2.21, 2.48 and
<br />31.1.6 to, and amending: Sects 2.45, 2.75, 2.93, 3.2, 4.4,5.4, 5.5, 6.4, 6.5, 7.4,
<br />7.5, 8.4, 9.4, 10.4, 19.95 13.2, 32.7, 4?.3 and 45.7 of, Ordinance No. 1130, the
<br />RedViood City Zoning Ordinance, relating to Zoning regulations of the City of Redwool
<br />City, seconded b; Councilman Granr;er and carried.
