Councilman Petersen moved to introduce Ordinance appropriat:inr; $98,933.30 from moneys <br />deposited in special deposits fund to provide for construction of public improvements <br />and performing other overnrnental functions in connection with Kaiser Hospital site. <br />Councilman Bury reviewed statements made previously about City Staff participating <br />in some construction or relocation work so as to reduce City's contribution in cash. <br />City Manager stated his awareness of this commitment but stated use of City Staff <br />not possible in this first phase of relocation of sewer 1_ne, but assured him if <br />any way possible to contribute in this manner, City most certainly intended to do <br />SO. Motion seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. <br />Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 4942 BEING RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br />TO VACATE EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF WAY RESERVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 4867 FOR PUBLIC <br />UTTLTTY FACILITIES (Sets public hearing; March 28, 1866) This easement is in Brad- <br />ford Street and was retained after abandonment of the street, pending relocation <br />of the utilities. Motion seconded by Councilman Bury and carried on roll call vote, <br />Councilman Granger being noted absent. <br />Councilman Herkner moved to adopt RESOLUTION N0. 4943 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICA- <br />TIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MAPLE STREET SEWER (KAISER HOSPITAL) VETERANS BLVD. AND <br />MAPLE STREET, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried on roll call vote, Councilman <br />Granger being noted absent. <br />Councilman Bury moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 4944 GRANTING POLE LINE RIGHT OF WAY TO <br />PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY. City Attorney .reported granting of these rights <br />of way was according to conditions required by the Use Permit previously granted. <br />Motion seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried on roll call vote, Councilman <br />Granger being noted absent. <br />Councilman Royer moved to adopt ORDINANCE NO. 1236 ADDING ARTICLE VTT (COMMENCING AT <br />SECTION 30.110) TO CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ESTABLISHING <br />REQUTREMF.NTS FOR PRELIMINARY SOIL REPORTS ON AND SOIL INVESTIGATIONS OF PROPOSED <br />SUBDIVISIONS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY.
