The residential <br /> neighborhoods east of the Downtown include primarily medium to high density <br /> residential uses. Light industrial, commercial and office uses dominate the corridors <br /> along Veterans Boulevard, Broadway, and El Camino Real. The Kaiser Permanente <br /> Hospital campus is located along Veterans Boulevard just outside the DTPP area. <br /> To the west of the Downtown, the Centennial and Arlington neighborhoods contain a mix <br /> of residential uses, ranging from low to high density, with office and commercial uses <br /> along El Camino ReaL Immediately south of Downtown in the Sequoia, Central, Palm <br /> and Oakwood neighborhoods, low to high density residential uses predominate, with <br /> several existing schools, places of assembly and parks. Predominantly commercial land <br /> uses lie to the north of the Downtown. <br /> The Project Site <br /> The proj ect site is near the center of the Downtown Precise Plan (DTPP) area, within the <br /> DTPP Entertainment District. Redwood City's primary entertainment area is across <br /> Middlefield from the site; this area includes the AMC theatres, the Fox Theatre, retail <br /> shops, restaurants, and Courthouse Square. The Sequoia Station shopping center is <br /> across the Caltrain tracks, the Redwood City Main Library and parking lot are across <br /> Jefferson, and City Hall is across the Middlefield/Jefferson intersection from the project <br /> site. <br /> 10. Other public a�encies whose approval is required (e.g., permits, financing approval, or <br /> participation agreement): <br /> None.
