Additionally, the Contractor is obligated to provide <br /> additional notice to area residents and businesses two weeks prior to the start of work. <br /> Signage that contains project information will be posted at the construction site and <br /> construction updates will be available on the city's website. <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> Council may choose not to award the contract and direct staff to redesign and/or rebid <br /> the project. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> External funding for this project was received from San Mateo County ($75,000) and <br /> Redwood City Elementary School District ($200,000). Funds for this project have been <br /> appropriated and are available from the Fiscal Year 2012/13 budget, Capital Projects <br /> Fund -- Synthetic Play Fields Conversion. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br /> As the lead agency, City of Redwood City has determined that the Fair Oaks <br /> Elementary School Synthetic Turf Field Replacement Project meets the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption criteria as set forth in CEQA Guidelines <br /> Section 15302, ("Replacement or Reconstruction").
