Supplemental IWaterial Testing
The material has been tested and deemed not appropriate for in-water or wetland
placement. There is a possibility that supplemental testing may be required by the
Water Board prior to dredging, and actual fees are unknown until those tests are
determined. To cover these potential costs, an allowance for a sub-consultant
(Kinnetic Laboratories) to perform material sampling and testing is included in this
proposal for up to $ 3,800 under the assumption that 4 samples will be required
for PAH testing and elutriate testing only. Up to an additional $5,500 is included for
the consultant to provide assistance with agency coordination, and to support the
sub consultant in the form of providing figures, volumes and other irformation. The
City Engineer must provide prior written authorization to the consultant for all
supplemental material testing as provided in Exhibit B" of this Amendment. The
total optional allowance for the supplemental material testing is a not to exceed
amount of $19,300.
ATTY/AGR/2013/AMENDMENTS/AMEND NO. 4 MOFFATT AND NICHOL
REV: 07-09-13 VR
