� 6.1. E. - Page 9 <br /> 9. Additional Services <br /> As experienced in the previous portions of this project, regulatory related <br /> uncertainties are common in permitting dredging projects. They can be related to <br /> events such as changes in regulatory policies, unexpected sediment testing <br /> results, abnormal shoaling volumes, new ir�formation complicating construction <br /> logistics, just to name a few. To account for these uncertainties, additional <br /> services are added to the above estimate to be used in the event of such <br /> abnormalities. Additional services could include additional communications and <br /> submittals with the regulatory agencies, additional site visits or meeting <br /> attendance, or additional supplemental material testing if required by the <br /> agencies. The City Engineer must provide prior written authorization to the <br /> consultant for all additional services as provided in Exhibit "B" of this Amendment. <br /> FEE ESTIMATE <br /> The consultant shall invoice for time and materials expended, on a monthly basis, <br /> based on the consultant's standard rate schedule as attached.
