_ . � .� (2) That on January 1�, 1960, this Council did adopt its Res- alution No. 2q50, entitled "Resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City Giving Notice of, and Declaring its Intention to, Initiate on its own 1�lotion Proceedings to .Annex to said City Cer- tain L'ninhabited Territory; Describing said Territory and Designa.ting it by the Name �Bresso Annexation� ; Giving its Reasons for Desiring said ,Anriexation; Making Certain Findings Respecting said Proceedings; and Giving Notice of the Time �d Place said Council will hear Protests to said Annexatio�,T' wherein it gave notice of said pro- posed annexation, described said territor;� and designated it by� the above mentioned name, made certain findings respecting said proposal an d ��ve notice of the time and place said Council would hear protests thereto; and �3� That less than twelve registered voters resided within said territory at the time the above mentione d resolution was �dopted by this Council; and (4) 'i'hat the City Clerk has caused a copy of said Resolution TTo. 2950 to be published in the manner and �,*ithin the time re- quired bg law, and has also caused written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom such notice is required by law to be given; all in the manner and time required by law; and (5) That this Council did in said Resolution No. 2950 set and designate February 29, 1960, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. , in the Board of Supervisor�s Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, San Mateo County, Caliiornia, as the day, hour� and place when and h*here said Council would hear protests against said annexa- tion; and (6) That none of the territory within the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed is a�rned by a junior college dis- trict; and -2-
