-Commissioner Filippi acknowledged the new Redwood City Almanac staff <br /> consisting of Don Saye and other community members who have pulled <br /> together to help people in need. Mr. Saye said he considers the Almanac to be <br /> the community's newspaper and said he was happy to help. <br /> -All of the Commissioners said they missed Bob and Lettie Distefano at the <br /> meeting, wished them well and hoped to have them back soon. They <br /> thanked Jeff Harm for coming and reporting for the Redwood City Tribune. <br /> -Commissioner Ball complimented Redwood City residents for the beautiful <br /> Christmas decorations this year and felt they out did themselves. <br /> -Chairperson Redington commented on the people helping out at the <br /> Redwood City Almanac during Bob Distefano's absence and said he felt it <br /> speaks well for the Redwood City community. <br /> -Superintendent Hartman asked for volunteers to meet with Supervisor Julie <br /> Hannon before the February meeting to discuss the ACTS Award. <br /> Commissioners Ball and Moran volunteered. <br /> -Don Saye asked the Cultural Commission to recognize the "live" Bethlehem <br /> nativity scene put on by a Redwood City church. He will provide the name <br /> and address of the responsible group/person at the February meeting. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 8:50pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, February 3, 1994 at the <br /> Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
