She said that a structural report is being obtained to <br /> determine the current status of Carrington Hall and a list of cosmetic items <br /> needed at Carrington Hall was sent to Mike Church. Estimated cost of these <br /> items is $120,000.00. She said Mr. Walker and Mr. Gielow spoke of an attempt <br /> to do something positive to the facility and expressed a desire to form a task <br /> force on the matter. They are looking at various sources of funding such as <br /> redevelopment funds and private funding to try and repair the site because <br /> they are very concerned about its declining condition. <br /> Commissioner Fischer said she would like to invite Merle Fruehling, Don <br /> Gielow and Earl Walker to our June meeting to further discuss this matter. <br /> They will also have the results of the structural report by that time. She said <br /> Mr. Gielow will look for plans which were done 12 years ago of the facility. <br /> A letter will be sent inviting Merle Fruehling, Don Gielow, Earl Walker and <br /> Councilman Paul Sanfilipo to the June meeting. <br /> Commissioner Fischer said Mr. Walker and Mr. Gielow invited the <br /> Commission to attend Sequoia's production of "Little Shop of Horrors" on <br /> May 21-22. They also suggested having a concert at Sequoia High School. She <br /> said they were very receptive to the idea of more community use of the <br /> school and its grounds. She told them about the funds available this fiscal <br /> year and was told that they may submit a request for some funds for elevation <br /> plans. <br />
