The workshops/classes were held during the day and <br /> concerts were held at night. The classes held each morning were followed by <br /> Masters classes taught by professionals. All students would play their <br /> instruments before professionals and be evaluated. The first week of the <br /> workshop is held for children and the second week is for adults. He said it <br /> was an outstanding experience and felt the Commission might consider <br /> supporting a student to go to this in the future. Cost is $200-$400 for one week <br /> of the workshop. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -Commissioner Moran announced Lathrop House will be holding an "Old <br /> Timers” luncheon in September at the Ellcs Club. <br /> -Commissioners Piulle and Ball attended a concert last Friday. <br /> -The Commissioners thanked Commissioner Piulle for their badges. <br /> -Commissioner Ball attended the Fox Theater Task Force meeting this week. <br /> -Commissioner Distefano said Bill McKenna of the Vintage Music Theater <br /> expressed his thanks to the Cultural Commission for their support. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 9:30pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, October 6, 1994 to be held at <br /> the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
