How do we make this ha� en� <br /> Don Saye expressed shock at the condition of McKinley Middle School's <br /> auditorium and proposed that any excess monies collected for the project <br /> should be returned to repair other school facilities. <br /> d.) Managgment of the buildin�. <br /> Park and Recreation Commissioner Diane Howard said the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission would like to help in whatever way they can on this <br /> project. <br /> Pat Bernard spoke to Otis Carrington' daughter who said that her father <br /> designed the building and she would�orward any paperwork on the building <br /> to Jean Cloud at the Redwood City Archives. <br /> Councilman Paul Sanfilipo noted that Sequoia High School was originally <br /> built as a college prep school for Stanford University and wondered if the <br /> committee considered going to Stanford to see if they might assist with <br /> funding for the project. <br /> Councilwoman Georgi LaBerge said it was good to see support for the arts in <br /> Redwood City and encouraged everyone's involvement in the project. <br /> e.) Miscellaneous <br /> Chairperson Filippi announced the Carrington Hall Committee will be <br /> holding open public meetings in the future and invited all to attend. All <br /> mail regarding the project can be sent to the Park and Recreation Department <br /> at 1400 Roosevelt Avenue. Commissioner Ball encouraged support of the <br /> project and to go to work and make it happen. <br /> The special meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 8:25pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, November 3, 1994 to be held <br /> at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood <br /> City, California. <br />
