( <br /> M/S Ball/Piulle: To extend the meeting to 10:50pm. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> ITEM 9- EVALUATION OR DISCUSSION OF CULTURAL EVENTS HELD <br /> DURING THE PAST 30 DAYS <br /> Commissioners Ball and Saye attended the Victory Ball held at the Veterans <br /> Memorial Senior Center on May 12 presented by the Vintage Music T'heater. <br /> The Victory Ball will also be presented on August 11 and 13 at the Fox <br /> Theater. <br /> Commissioner Ball attended the Spring Art Show on May 20-21 sponsored by <br /> the Sequoia Art Group. She also recently attended a U.S. Air Force Band <br /> performance at Davies Symphony Hall featuring the music of Glenn Miller. <br /> She said it was a great performance and the band received five encores. <br /> Commissioner Saye attended the West Bay Opera presentation of La Boehme <br /> at the Lucie Stern Theater and noted it was an outstanding event. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> There were no announcements. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 10:45pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday,July 6, 1995 to be held at the <br /> Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
