The draft will be in the <br /> November packet. <br /> -Commissioner Britschgi attended the "Taste of the Shores" Rubber Ducky <br /> Festival. She also thanked the Commission for nominating the Redwood <br /> City Art Center for the Arts Star Award. <br /> -Commissioner Saye also spoke in detail about the Arguello bust relocation. <br /> He also noted the JPA is studying a new train crossing at Broadway. He <br /> requested that the Arguello Bust Relocation Sub-Committee be placed on the <br /> November agenda. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -Commissioner Britschgi announced the open studios of three artists at the <br /> Art Center on October 5-6 from 11:OOam-5:OOpm. <br /> -Commissioner Filippi announced the "Horses to Horsepower" car show to <br /> be held at Sequoia High School on October 6. <br /> -Chairperson Piulle announced the Sequoia Art Group will have art work on <br /> display at the Library and at the Art Center. <br /> -Commissioner Ball announced Sally Hartman received the Unsung Hero <br /> award at a ceremony on September 29. She also noted that Joe Marchi was <br /> injured at home recently. <br /> -The Commission will be making its presentation to the City Council on its <br /> FY95-96 Accomplishments and FY96-97 Workplan on Monday, October 7. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 10:05pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, November 7, 1996 to be <br /> held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, <br /> Redwood City, California. <br />
