She called the meeting back to order at 8:05pm. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> The following corrections were made to the May minutes: <br /> -On page 4 under Item 2, it should read: "Commissioner Redington requested <br /> that all Commissioners receive copies of materials sent home to the parents <br /> of NOTE program students". -On page 6 under Item 5, Commissioner <br /> Redington stated the location of the performance he attended was in <br /> Mountain View not Redwood City. The May minutes were approved as <br /> corrected. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Commissioner Distefano reviewed a variety of correspondence related to <br /> upcoming cultural events. In addition, the following items were received: <br /> -A letter from the Sequoia Art Group thanking the Commission for support <br /> of prize money for the Sequoia Art Show. <br /> -A copy of the Sequoia Smoke Signals was received. Commissioner Filippi <br /> publicly thanked Nancy Oliver for her work with the Sequoia Alumni <br /> Association. <br /> -Veterans Memorial Senior Center newsletter. <br /> -A letter from John Holt of the Optimist Club regarding approval to operate a <br /> refreshment cart at the Summer Concert Series. <br />
