Commission Page 6 <br /> Minutes of June S, 1997 <br /> -Commissioner Filippi reported on the RESCUE reception "Music is <br /> Elementary"; he was the Master of Ceremonies at the McKinley Inter-district <br /> concert featuring all levels of performers from beginning players to the <br /> Woodside Jazz Band. <br /> -Commissioner Saye reported on the john Gill performance; the Raices de <br /> Mexico performance at Carrington Hall on May 17; the West Bay Opera Magic <br /> Flute concert at Lucie Stern Theater; and the bronze plaque dedication <br /> ceremony at Union Cemetery. <br /> -Commissioner Redington reported on the Memorial Day services at Union <br /> Cemetery; the RESCUE reception at Foresters Hall; and Public Safety Day. <br /> -Chairperson Ball reported on the Greek Festival in Oakland. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> M/S Distefano/Filippi: To adjourn this evening's meeting in memory <br /> of Nat Mangini. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned in <br /> memory of Nat Mangini at 9:40pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, <br /> july 10, 1997 to be held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt <br /> Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br />
