Civic Cultural Commission Page 4 <br /> Minutes of January 8, 1998 <br /> -B�nner Policy <br /> No report at this time. <br /> -Budget Committee <br /> The committee will be meeting on January 22 at 1 :OOpm. A report will be <br /> presented at the February meeting. <br /> ITEM 4 — FOCUS 97-98 <br /> -The Commissioners were asked to bring ideas to the February meeting to be <br /> included in the FY98-99 and FY99-00 budgets. <br /> -The concept of combining various Commissions or changing meeting dates <br /> was brought before the Commission. The Commissioners were asked to <br /> bring their ideas about this concept to the February meeting. <br /> ITEM 5 — EVALUATION OF CULTURAL EVENTS HELD DURING THE PAST <br /> 30 DAYS <br /> -Commissioner Distefano said the Bethlehem A.D. program was wonderful <br /> but the largest complaint was that there were too many attendees. <br /> -Chairperson Ball said the Lathrop House's Open House was not well <br /> attended. <br /> -Commissioner Britschgi attended the Tis the Season Parade, the Art Center <br /> Open House, and "Oliver" at the Peninsula Center Stage. It was noted the <br /> San Mateo Historical Museum wants to be involved in next year's Tis the <br /> Season program. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -The City Council will present a plaque to Tamara Piulle at their January 12 <br /> meeting and all were invited to attend. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 9:05pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, February 5, 1998 at the <br /> Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
