PUBLIC HEARINGS - 1) Public Hearing concerning the proposed Resolution of Necessity to acquire APN 052-356-060, Greer Family (1402-16, 1401-06) REPORT: Executive Director, August 20, 1992 In response to Directors questions, Redevelopment Agency Counsel Hildebrand advised that today he had talked to the attorney for the Greer Family Revocable Intervivos Trust and Charles W. and Claudette J. Syme and was advised that neither the attorney nor the Greers or Symes would be present at this meeting tonight. Executive Director Church presented the staff report and read the following Report into the record: SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY - SEQUOIA STATION PROJECT Recommendation That the Board hold a public hearing allowing the following owners of property within the Sequoia Station Project to appear and be heard on the proposal to exercise the power of eminent domain over their property: Greer Family Revocable Intervivos Trust - Charles W. and Claudette J. Syme and that at the concl us i on of the publ i c heari ng the Board approve the Resolution of Necessity for each parcel, based upon the following findings. Findings the power of eminent domain may be exercised to acquire property for a proposed project only if all of the following are established: 1. The publ ic interest and necessity requi re the proposed project, 2. The proposed project is planned or located in the manner that will ?e,most compatible with the greatest public good and the least private InJury. 3. The property described in the resolutions is necessary for the proposed project; and 4.
