PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> - 1) Public Hearing concerning the proposed Resolution of Necessity to <br /> acquire APN 052-356-060, Greer Family (1402-16, 1401-06) <br /> REPORT: Executive Director, August 20, 1992 <br /> In response to Directors questions, Redevelopment Agency Counsel <br /> Hildebrand advised that today he had talked to the attorney for the <br /> Greer Family Revocable Intervivos Trust and Charles W. and Claudette J. <br /> Syme and was advised that neither the attorney nor the Greers or Symes <br /> would be present at this meeting tonight. <br /> Executive Director Church presented the staff report and read the <br /> following Report into the record: <br /> SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY - SEQUOIA <br /> STATION PROJECT <br /> Recommendation <br /> That the Board hold a public hearing allowing the following owners of <br /> property within the Sequoia Station Project to appear and be heard on <br /> the proposal to exercise the power of eminent domain over their <br /> property: <br /> Greer Family Revocable Intervivos Trust <br /> - Charles W. and Claudette J. Syme <br /> and that at the concl us i on of the publ i c heari ng the Board approve the <br /> Resolution of Necessity for each parcel, based upon the following <br /> findings. <br /> Findings <br /> the power of eminent domain may be exercised to acquire property for a <br /> proposed project only if all of the following are established: <br /> 1. The publ ic interest and necessity requi re the proposed project, <br /> 2. The proposed project is planned or located in the manner that will <br /> ?e,most compatible with the greatest public good and the least private <br /> InJury. <br /> 3. The property described in the resolutions is necessary for the <br /> proposed project; and <br /> 4.
