There was no objection to the <br /> above. <br /> ITEM 4 - EVALUATION OF CULTURAL EVENTS HELD OVER THE PAST 30 <br /> DAYS <br /> The Commissioners attended the following cultural events held over the past <br /> 30 days: <br /> Commissioner Del Carlo - summer concert series. <br /> Commissioner Dale - Latin salsa concert, Middle School choir concert in <br /> Kosovo, Mountain View Chocolate Factory production <br /> Commissioner Schenone - Polynesian dance and the Gaugain Museum in <br /> Tahiti, "As Bees in Honey Drown" production, two summer concerts <br /> Commissioner Britschgi - Expresso 5 concert, Lake Tahoe art <br /> Commissioner Pierce - Andes musical group at Farmers Market, "Bye Bye <br /> Birdie" at Fox Theater, and summer concerts. <br /> Commissioner Saye - "Oklahoma" at Foothill College and In Sync concert. <br /> Chairperson Redington - Tis the Season Committee meeting and the Public <br /> Art Committee meeting. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Commissioner Saye commented about the letter received from Vintage Music <br /> Theatre and the 53,000.00 rental charge by the new owner of the Fox <br /> Theater. He regrets Peninsula Center Stage sale of Fox Theater to local <br /> entrepreneur. <br /> The reguiar meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 8:55pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, October 7, 1999 at the <br /> Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
