Civic Cultura!Commission Page 4 <br /> Minutes of January 6, 20� <br /> ITEM 3 - EVALUATION OF CULTURAL EVENTS HELD OVER THE PAST <br /> 30 DAYS <br /> The Commissioners attended the following cultural events held over the past <br /> 30 days: <br /> Commissioner Britschgi - Tis the Season Parade and Fireworks, The Messiah <br /> at Davies Hall and a New Mexico Bird Sanctuary <br /> Commissioner Del Carlo - Tis the Season event and the North Star student <br /> production <br /> Commissioner Dale - Tis the Season event, Mini Nutcracker, Boston Pops at <br /> the San Jose Arena, the Rose Parade and Football Game <br /> Commissioner Schenone - Nutcracker in San Francisco, Christmas Carol by <br /> ACT, EI Camino Youth Symphony featuring beginning through expert <br /> performers <br /> Chairperson Redington - Tis the Season event and the City's Boards and <br /> Commissions Dinner. He asked staff to pass on his appreciation of the video <br /> on Redwood City that was presented. <br /> Commissioner Saye- commented on the Downtown banners and the Cultu�al <br /> Commission's involvement in their selection. <br /> ANNDUNCEMENTS <br /> There were no announcements. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 8:45pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, February 3, 2000 at the <br /> Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> Califomia. <br />
