She noted that the fireworks were spectacular, but <br /> that spaces between the parade events were too long. A critique meeting is <br /> pianned for the second week in .lanuary. Commissioner Schenone asked that <br /> the idea of sponsorships for schoois be discussed. She had understood that <br /> sponsorships were available but they did not materialize. <br /> A memo summarizing the decisions the sub-committee needs to bring back <br /> to the Commission regarding the summer concert series was presented to <br /> the Commission. The sub-committee wili meet in the interim to develop <br /> recommendations. Chairperson Redington asked staff to contact the Port of <br /> Redwood City regarding their financiai support of the event. <br /> -Pianning <br /> f�o report. <br /> -Pubiic Art <br /> Commissioner Britschgi noted that she had not been abie to set up a meeting <br /> with the develaper of a Veterans Boulevard building regarding the inclusion of <br /> public art. <br />
