Commissioner Ball gave the history <br /> of the 'Tis the Season Committee. <br /> -Strategic Plan Update <br /> No report. <br /> -Public Art <br /> Chairperson Britschgi inquired about the proposed lighting for the upstairs <br /> area at City Hall. <br /> ITEM 3 - EVALUATION OF CULTURAL EVENTS HELD OVER THE PAST <br /> 30 DAYS <br /> The Commissioners attended the following cultural events: <br /> Soultanian - traveled to Southwest and saw Native American Art <br /> Kushin - Enrico IV, went to Hoover School to view a multi-cultural event but <br /> it was moved to June 2 <br /> Del Carlo - saw video of John Gill Math Show, "Angry Housewives" at Lucie <br /> Stern Theater <br /> Ball - Women's History Program at Veterans Memorial Senior Center <br /> Britschgi - grandchildrens' ball games, Mt. Carmel Festival <br /> Items for�une Agenda: <br /> -Large Grant Requests, possible grant request from Redwood City Art Center <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -Commissioner Soultanian spoke to Joan Jordan about a possible event by <br /> the Redwood City Art Center; their lease is up at the end of June. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjoumed at <br /> 8:55pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, June 7, 2001 at the <br /> Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
