Civic Cuhura/Commission Page 6 <br /> Minutes of June 7, 2001 <br /> developing a Power Point presentation for the subsequent Pianning <br /> Commission meeting in July and the Council meeting to foilow. <br /> ITEM 4 - EVALUATION OF CULTURAL EVENTS HELD OVER THE PAST <br /> 30 DAYS <br /> The Commissioners attended the foliowing cuiturai events: <br /> Bail - Sequoia Art Show, Vintage Music Theatre performance at Carrington <br /> Haii, visited San Antonio, Texas <br /> Kushin - multi-culturai festivai at Hoover Schooi which was sponsored by the <br /> Commission, saw "The Cherry Orchard", and two piays in San Francisco <br /> Britschgi - Redwood City 2020 production at Canada Coilege, toured Greece <br /> Dougias - toured Northern Italy <br /> Dale - visited Kosovo, visited Vienna and saw EI Greco exhibit and Vienna <br /> Opera, Sacramento Jubilee Jazz Festivai, jazz show at Coilege of San Mateo <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -Our first concert in the park wiii be held on Wednesday, lune 27. City <br /> Center Piaza Jazz Concerts begin on Friday, lune 15. <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cuiturai Commission was adjourned at <br /> 10:17pm to be reconvened at 7:OOpm on Thursday, July 5, 2001 at the <br /> Community Activities Building, 1400 Rooseveit Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
